Starting to burn out on the novel. Have to remember to pace myself and stop mid-stream instead of trying to write as much as possible in one day and close off a scene. Closing a scene makes it harder to start a new one the next day. I think I'll break for the weekend and work on Code Name: Panda Suit instead.
Also, 25 Insights on Becoming a Better Writer reminds me that I have to be okay with writing badly. Good advice. Otherwise I'll never get through this first draft. I'm already thinking of ways it needs to be reshaped, which could be dangerous to its progress.
